Jin Peng received the B.S. in mathematics, the M.S. degree in operations research & control theory from Central China Normal University , and the Ph.D degree in operations research & control theory from Tsinghua University , respectively. As a visiting scholar, he carried on further studies at University of New South Wales in Australia from 1993 to 1994. As an advanced visiting scholar, he carried on further studies at North Carolina State University in 2013. Now he is a full professor and currently served as vice chancellor at Huanggang Normal University, Hubei, China. His primary research interests include uncertainty theory, uncertain programming, uncertain risk analysis, uncertain network optimization, intelligent computing and uncertainty modelling in various application areas such as scheduling, vehicle routing problems, finance. Dr. Peng has published more than 80 papers in various journals or conference proceedings. He has also successfully conducted various projects including the National Natural Science Foundation, the Humanity and Social Science Foundation of Ministry of Education, Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the Group Innovation Project of Hubei Provincial Department of Education, China. Prof. Peng is currently serving as the associate editor, area editor, editorial board member, or peer reviewer of several international journals. He has also acted as the chairs, board members of program committees or organizing committees in various conferences or academic organizations at home and abroad.
